Glad that experiment is over....going out of my way to drive exaclty the speed limit, be very light on the gas and even draft off the occasional tractor trailer managed to get my mpg's up to 26.5 from the normal 22.5 I get. Minimal savings...considering the contrast in driving style. I think I'm going to remove the roof rack and go with a hitch rack to see what that gets me. If I remember correctly, I think I was getting an additional 20-30 miles out of a tank..more

The spiteful jackass farmer is back at it again. The thing that sucks is I only run into him if Im already running late. He seems to have backup with him since the incident. It angers me knowing he does it purely out of spite but bbesides that I could care less. Other peole freak out...waving their arms in the air, cursing, turning their vehicles and burning off.

OK, so I can't afford a big fancy pontoon boat like many of my neighbors but I can afford a Coleman air matress and a kayak anchor. Kick out into the middle of the lake, toss the anchor and it's a nice little party island away from the screaming kids on the beach.
